Tricia is a first-time children's book author, photographer, and stop-motion animator with a lifelong love of traveling, cooking, and storytelling. When she is not writing, she can usually be found creating new recipes in the kitchen, spending time with family and friends, or exploring fun new places. Cat mom to her very own adventure cat, Kingsley, who inspired this story from their life in Rome.

Kingsley was born in Viterbo, Italy, and grew up in Rome. He became an adventure cat at just three months old, with his mom by his side. His first adventure was at his favorite park on Aventine Hill, and he never looked back. When he is not exploring, you can find him screaming for his liquid treats, playing with his toys, especially his Mr. Mouse, or snuggling with his mom.
